The Millington and Gillette students and the driver were helped off the bus after power was cut by JCP&L about 10 minutes after the crash, resulting in area outages.

NBCNewYork's live chopper footage shows power lines strewn across the top of the bus.

Long Hill Public Schools announced a two-hour delay following the crash. No injuries were reported and all students involved made it to school safely.

The crash was under investigation as of 10 a.m.

Long Hill Road, Meyersville Road and Mountain Avenue remained closed at 10 a.m. as PSEG worked to replace a utility pole, local police said.

"At this time we do not have an estimate on how long this shutdown will take place nor when power will be back on," police said. "Please stay patient and contact the PD should you need anything further."
